New year, new business programmes – and 2025 is set to be a significant one for business education. The business landscape is rapidly changing, particularly with the ever-growing impact of AI and the renewed focus on sustainability.

As a result, business schools around the world are launching brand-new programmes and refreshing old favourites, whether it’s sustainability-focused MBAs, AI leadership programmes, or courses designed with entrepreneurs in mind.

Here’s a glimpse into some of the best new bachelor’s, master’s, MBA and executive education business school programmes to look out for in 2025.

IIM Indore and Emeritus: Executive Programme in Business Management

Start date: December 2024-January 2025

Location: Indore, India

If you want to start 2025 off by getting ahead in your career, then you’re in luck. Officially launching on 30th December 2024, with classes starting on January 19th 2025, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM Indore) and ed-tech company Emeritus are joining forces to launch their Executive Programme in Business Management.

Designed to ‘help you stay ahead of the curve’, the programme promises to help you gain a 360-degree view of business management, acquire in-demand skills in strategy, finance and leadership that will help you excel in your career; and help you lead in confidence in driving future-ready business practices. The programme promises both live online sessions and immersions at the IIM Indore campus.

Hult International Business School: Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Dubai campus)

Start date: September 2025

Location: Dubai, UAE

Hult International Business School, with campuses worldwide, currently offers its Bachelor’s in Business Administration in London and Boston. Starting in September, the programme will also be available at its Dubai campus. Students will join a diverse community representing over 150 nationalities, gain international industry experience, and develop as global professionals. The programme features practical, challenge-based business modules and specialised study tracks in marketing and entrepreneurship.

Corvinus University of Budapest: International MBA

Corvinus University of Budapest is launching some exciting new master’s programmes focused on management and entrepreneurship, providing opportunities for those looking to deepen their leadership expertise or develop creative business solutions.

Amongst these new programmes is the one-year International MBA programme, tailored to prepare students for the complexities of the international business world. This intensive programme is designed for those who want to gain a comprehensive knowledge of management on a fast track so that they can take a career break for just one year rather than two. 

Nyenrode Business University: Impact MBA

Start date: September 2025

Location: Breukelen, Netherlands

Sustainability and digital transformation are the two main focuses of Nyenrode Business University’s Impact MBA. Available on a 2-year part-time executive programme or a one-year fast track, this renewed MBA will help candidates navigate their career path in a world shaped by digital innovation and environmental consciousness. Students will access a traditional business education through the lens of sustainability and digital transformation – Think sustainable finance classes, responsible marketing and data-driven decision-making.

Durham University Business School: MSc Accounting Analytics and Sustainability

Start date: September 2025

Location: Durham, England

If you’re an accounting or auditing professional, or someone interested in developing their data analytics and sustainability knowledge, skills and capabilities in accounting, Durham University Business School’s new MSc Accounting Analytics and Sustainability might be the 2025 programme for you. This new part-time programme a fully online, with a flexible structure, allowing students to balance full-time employment while progressing through the programme, and applying their learning directly to their careers. Graduates will gain expertise in integrated reporting, ESG investment ratings, and assurance analytics, with the option to exit earlier with a Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma.

Durham University Business School has also adapted its MSc Islamic Finance programme for 2025, enhancing its focus on sustainable development, climate risk and fintech to the curriculum from, alongside a more concentrated emphasis on social governance.

Kingston Business School: various programmes

Start date: September 2025

Location: London, England

Kingston Business School in London has recently launched a variety of postgraduate programmes, including the MSc Business Analytics, which “harnesses the features of modern technology to manage the volume of data produced by modern businesses”. As part of the degree, students will take part in a research or consultancy project, which will be supported by flexible learning labs designed to develop their digital and consultancy skills. They will also have access to the Bloomberg Trading Room to discover and utilise real-time financial data.

Alongside this, Kingston Business School has launched its MSc in Digital Marketing and Analytics, which helps students build a strategic and practical understanding of value creation, customer relationship management and marketing communications; and the MSc in Project Management, which teaches students about the latest developments in building sustainability programmes and how to use data analytics to drive innovation and sustainability. The school’s new MBA: Cyber for Business Leaders programme explores cyber, sustainability, ethical business and data management, which are incorporated into all of its modules.

IMD: New MBA curriculum

IMD’s recent MBA curriculum redesign has created a programme designed to adapt to evolving challenges, address real-world issues, and shape the future of business. The school claims to be the first to integrate AI comprehensively across its MBA curriculum, treating it both as a learning tool and a subject of study. Students will not only gain skills in leveraging AI but also benefit from IMD AI+, a ‘pocket tutor’ powered by faculty expertise, enhancing their learning beyond the classroom. Through this new curriculum, IMD combines data-driven problem-solving with a strong focus on human leadership qualities.

London Business School: MBA

London Business School’s one-year MBA was designed around the school’s mission: “to have a profound impact on the way the world does business and how business impacts the world.” This, the school states, includes students building the skills and courage to have a profound impact themselves, not just an understanding of what impact means. Imperial College Business School: MSc Management

From September 2025, the London-based business school will be unifying its existing MSc Management and MSc International Management into one programme.
